2/22/2011 Meeting Minutes
Call to order:~ P. Andersen called the meeting to order at 7:07 PM.
Present:~ P. Andersen, M. Drobney, C. Jordan, P. Pribula, M. Schreiber, R. Shabot.
Approval of 2/25/11 minutes: Approval of minutes on a motion by MS/RS
1 abstention: MS., 5 ayes.
Present to speak: NA.
Finance: The FY11/12 budget was submitted to the Board of Finance. $200.00 from the FY10/11 budget was returned to the Board of Finance.
Old Business
FRP-DS:
- Trails Report: No news to report
Town Development: no report.
Open Space /Easement Monitoring: tabled
- Programs: There are no winter programs scheduled for FRP-DS.
Collaborative Organizations
- Willimantic River Alliance: tabled.
- Joshua’s Trust: No news.
- Windham County Conservation Consortium: no news
- Ashford Conservation Commission: Their previously announced attendance at our monthly meeting is postponed until further notice.
- Knowlton Purchase Update: A closing date for the purchase is still not set.
Charter’s Green Lights: The Board of Selectman has decided not to spend more time on this issue.
New Business
Communications Incoming bulletins and correspondences were discussed.
Map Hangers Update: After the meeting was adjourned, members installed the map hangers for the NRIOSCP maps.
